Reviews and Ratings
The Pomeroy Kananaskis Lodge offers a unique experience close to nature, with spectacular mountain views and engaging evening activities like s'mores roasts. However, my stay was marred by slow check-in, overcrowding from tour groups, and a lack of recognition for loyalty status. The dining was excellent at Forte, but the Nordic Spa felt overrated and noisy due to the crowd.
We had an amazing stay at this lovely resort, which offered a beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle of Banff while still being close enough for day trips. The room was clean and modern, and the staff went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. The dining options were great, especially at Forte, where we enjoyed most of our meals. However, we did find some amenities a bit pricey for what they offered.
Our stay at Kananaskis Mountain Lodge was truly delightful. The luxurious amenities and gorgeous setting made the experience memorable, especially with the Nordik Spa and fireside moments. However, there were minor inconveniences, such as limited towel hooks in the bathroom and some dining hiccups during our stay.
We had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the renovated atmosphere was modern and appealing, our initial room had heating issues which was frustrating. The family-friendly atmosphere is great with lots of activities for kids, but the pricing felt a bit steep for some of the dining options and overall experience. Overall, it has the potential to be a fantastic stay!
I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. While the hotel is visually stunning and the surrounding views are breathtaking, I faced a few disappointments, especially with the dining options and the amenities promised. The service was decent, but it didn't quite meet my expectations given the price point, particularly with the room service and the jacuzzi tub situation.
